Hardware you have to get right because the iteration cycle is long. 4-5 years. Software, could be hours. Get something wrong, change it, compile it and release it.<\/p>\n<p>For this reason, the culture is not East v West, it&#8217;s hardware v software.<\/p>\n<p>Andreas talks about a new category called Trustware that happens when &#8220;consensus rules are running in software, with the backing of hardware, deployed on a global network, with a diverse set of participants&#8221;.
